From validated solutions to emerging research our full innovation pipeline.
The Energy4Water Center develops operational atmospheric water harvesting solutions and conducts active research on next-generation systems.
Our portfolio spans deployment-ready products for decentralized use, as well as prototypes driving the frontier of water generation technology.
Our systems extract water directly from ambient air using a closed vapor-compression refrigeration cycle. Humid air is drawn in, cooled below its dew point, and the condensed water is collected, treated, and stored, no external water source required.
Warm, humid ambient air is drawn into the system through intake fans and passes through a pre-filter to remove dust and particles.
Air passes over the evaporator, cooled to below its dew point. Water vapor condenses into liquid droplets on the chilled aluminum fins.
Condensed water drips by gravity into a collection tray and is directed to storage. Multi-stage treatment HEPA, carbon filter, UV ensures potable quality.
Treated water is stored in a food-grade tank. An integrated sensor system monitors temperature, humidity, water level, and energy consumption in real time.
